I came across Professional Drum Scanning after I had some poor scans done by another company. I had considered drum scanning but was put off by the cost of the London labs and decided to try cheaper standard scanning, a mistake. I then began to search for an alternative drum scanning company and found Charlotte and Tim.
The first files I sent them were some old 35mm colour negatives (Ektar 25 and 100). I was very impressed with the sharpness and detail in the pictures, they looked sharper than the original prints direct from the negative. The next batch was 35mm Velvia slides and there was no comparison between the drum scans and the cheaper alternative I had originally chosen, the sharpness and detail was very impressive.
I would not hesitate to recommend Charlotte and Tim, their prices are very reasonable, friendly and professional service and above all, great results.
