I have worked with most London labs in the last few years and used all sorts of scanners and techniques (including hand printing), and none come close to the results I get from Tim’s drum scans.
I recently compared scans from 4×5 film scanned on a Hasselblad Imacon to the 6×7 drum scans I got back from Tim, and the 6×7 were somehow sharper!
The Professional Drum Scanning team put in the time and effort to get the best results from my negs that most London labs haven’t come close to.
